The Rogues of Society, and The Doctor of Duddlestone
Two short works of popular fiction by George F. Underhill, issued in London by Diprose & Bateman in 1899 for the general circulating-library reader. The plates are not scenes but printers' ornaments: symmetrical headpieces and tailpieces of fine-line scrollwork, fanned rays, star-shaped florets and quatrefoil centres, usable as chapter dividers, borders and small spot decorations.
