Crystallography for Beginners. With an appendix on the use of the blowpipe and the determination of common minerals, etc. [With 3 tables of diagrams
Charles Josiah Woodward's Crystallography for Beginners, published in London by Simpkin, Marshall & Co. in 1896 as an introductory manual for students of mineralogy. The 78 figures are white-line diagrams reversed out of solid black blocks: stereographic projections with lettered poles and axes, plus faceted octahedra and other crystal forms, useful as geometric marks, dotted construction lines, and negative-space motifs.
