Miscellaneous Works ... Vols. I. and II. ... edited by G. Peacock. (Vol. III. ... edited by J. Leitch.)
The collected Miscellaneous Works of the physician and physicist Thomas Young, edited by George Peacock and John Leitch and published in London in 1855-58 for scientists and scholars reading his papers on optics, mechanics and antiquities. The plates are plain line diagrams printed in thin grey-black rule: lettered points, circles with tangents and chords, overlapping triangles and beams filled with ruled hatching, useful as ready-made geometric marks, hatch textures and annotated construction lines.
