A German textbook on the theory of map projections, written by Carl Zöppritz and published in 1884 for students of geography, geodesy and cartography. The plates are fine-line geometric diagrams — circles, meridian arcs, tangents and dashed projection rays labelled with italic capitals and Greek angles, each captioned "Fig." — usable as spare technical linework, diagram lettering, or abstract circle-and-axis motifs.
