The black art! or, Magic made easy
A cheap paperbound handbook of conjuring and card tricks issued by Frederic A. Brady of New York in 1869 for amateur performers and general readers. The wood engravings mix ornamented hand-lettered title pages from Brady's other dime titles with stage scenes of an evening-dressed magician working doves, bottles and table props, printed coarsely on tinted paper; useful for display alphabets, showman figures and trick apparatus.
