Annual exhibition of American paintings ... [electronic resource]
An exhibition catalogue of American paintings issued by the Union League Club in New York in 1893, printed for club members and exhibition visitors. The plates here are decorative page ornaments rather than reproductions of paintings: black-inked floral scatter patterns, an interlaced monogram of overlapping W and C forms, a red line-drawn chrysanthemum, and a red Chinese longevity character framed by plum blossom and birds, useful as spot ornaments, endpaper repeats, or monogram models.
