Boating trips on New England rivers
Henry Parker Fellows's 1884 account of canoe and boat journeys down New England rivers, published in Boston by Cupples, Upham and company for recreational boaters and armchair travelers. Pen-and-ink sketches, initialed and sometimes captioned with place names, show mills, dams, covered bridges and wooded banks in loose crosshatch, with usable textures for water, foliage and hillsides.
