The book of decorative furniture, its form, colour and history
Edwin Foley's two-volume survey of European furniture forms, colour and history, published in London by T.C. and E.C. Jack in 1910 for collectors, dealers and cabinetmakers. Heavy line cuts and halftones show single pieces in profile against blank or text-bleed grounds: turned and twisted chair frames, arcaded panel backs, bulbous legs, and scrolled acanthus carving isolated as silhouettes.
