An American party-planning handbook edited by Theresa Hunt Wolcott, published in Boston by Small, Maynard in 1920 for hostesses arranging showers, luncheons, and children's parties. The plates are halftone photographs of dressed tables shot from above and at an angle, showing draped cloths, tiered centerpieces, favors, place cards, and novelty props such as a spinning wheel; useful for period table settings, crepe-paper decoration, and soft grey halftone texture.
