The book of stars
A 1920 popular astronomy handbook by Archie Frederick Collins, issued in New York and London by D. Appleton for general readers and young amateur observers. The plates are small circular telescope-field views printed in coarse stipple and dry-brush black on cream paper, showing lunar maria, planetary bands and blank eyepiece rings, useful as ready-made roundels, grain textures and dot-shaded discs.
