book on California bungalows for the prospective home builder, architect or contractor : illustrated with actual photographs, showing floor plans and giving approximate costs, A
A 1915 pattern book and trade catalogue issued by the Paraffine Paint Co. of San Francisco, pairing photographs of California bungalows with floor plans and cost estimates for home builders, architects and contractors. The plates reproduce blueprints in reverse: white line work, room labels and dimension figures on dark blue-green grounds, with hatched wall poché, stair runs, fixture symbols and sideways title lettering that designers can lift as graphic pattern or architectural type specimens.
