A trade directory of Boston painters, sculptors, studios and art suppliers, issued by Wheat Publishing Company in 1893 for local artists, dealers and patrons. Illustrations mix halftone reproductions of studio paintings, notably a draped female figure in profile, with pen-and-ink genre vignettes of artists at easels and street scenes, plus decorated headings where lettering is tangled with grape vines and foliage.
