Brick and marble in the Middle Ages : notes of tours in the north of Italy
Architectural travel notes by the English Gothic Revival architect George Edmund Street, published by John Murray in London in 1874 from sketching tours of northern Italy, addressed to architects and builders. The 118 line engravings record brickwork and marble detail: pointed and round arches, cusped двух-light windows, apse arcading, corbel tables, with hatching that registers every course of brick.
