Briggs' patent transferring designs
A trade catalogue of iron-on embroidery transfer patterns issued by Briggs & Co. around 1880 for needleworkers, with some designs after Kate Greenaway. The plates are unshaded outline drawings of wild roses, daisies, buttercups and leafy sprays, arranged as borders, corners and single motifs, ready to trace, scale or fill with flat colour.
