British water-colour painting and painters of to-day
A 1920 survey of contemporary British watercolour by the painter John Littlejohns, published in Toronto by Pitman for art students and collectors. Forty-six colour plates reproduce Royal Academy exhibition watercolours — the Rock of Gibraltar, a timber barn among trees, harbour jetties and beached boats — with pale washes, bare paper, and captioned tinted mounts useful for muted palettes and plate framing.
