Bronze memorials.
A 1916 trade catalogue issued by the Gorham Company of New York to sell cast bronze tablets, plaques, and memorials to civic committees, churches, regiments, and families. Halftone photographs show shield-shaped and rectangular plates with raised lettering, heraldic shields, portrait medallions, battleship and building reliefs, scroll borders, and bookends, useful as sources for inscription layout, ornamental frames, and relief lettering.
