Bruges et Ypres
A French-language art and travel volume on Bruges and Ypres by Belgian art historian Henri Hymans, published in Paris by H. Laurens in 1907 for cultivated tourists and students of Flemish art. Halftone photographs, many credited to Römmler, show stepped and scrolled gables, brick street fronts, church portals, belfry views and small groups of townspeople, useful for period architectural silhouettes.
