A weekly trade journal for California contractors, builders and engineers, issued in San Francisco by L. A. Larson for the Contractors' and Dealers' Association of California from 1914. The scanned pictures are mostly the engraved masthead — hand-drawn shaded lettering against a skyline of factories, smokestacks, water towers and a clock tower with drifting smoke — usable as a period nameplate, industrial silhouette strip, or model for display lettering with inline highlights.
