Building & engineering news
A weekly trade journal issued in San Francisco by L. A. Larson for the Contractors' and Dealers' Association of California, reporting construction contracts, materials and engineering work to builders, architects and suppliers in 1914. The covers carry a hand-drawn masthead of factory roofs, smokestacks and a steel-framed tower behind heavy shaded lettering, and the interior pages hold building elevations, plans and trade advertisements useful for industrial skyline motifs, ornamental cartouches and period display type.
