A weekly trade paper for California builders, contractors and engineers, issued in San Francisco by L. A. Larson for the Contractors' and Dealers' Association of California around 1914. The scans are dominated by the engraved masthead: fat brush-script and slab-serif lettering over a hatched skyline of factories, smokestacks and a steel-frame building under construction, useful for period trade-journal titling, industrial silhouettes and line-shading textures.
