A weekly trade paper issued in San Francisco by L. A. Larson for the Contractors' and Dealers' Association of California in 1914, carrying construction news, bids and building notices for architects, contractors and suppliers. The scans are dominated by the engraved masthead, a skyline of factories, smokestacks, water towers and a steel-framed building under construction set behind heavy outlined display lettering with a scalloped border, useful for period title treatments, industrial silhouettes and rule-and-frame devices.
