A weekly trade paper for California builders, contractors and engineers, issued in San Francisco by L. A. Larson for the Contractors' and Dealers' Association of California from 1914 onward. The scans are mostly printed matter: an engraved masthead of a hillside city skyline behind hand-lettered script, plain sans-serif section headers, and ruled column rules and tabular listings that suit letterpress-era typographic borrowing.
