Building & engineering news
A weekly trade paper for California builders, contractors and engineers, issued in San Francisco by L. A. Larson for the Contractors' and Dealers' Association from 1914. The pictures are chiefly repeated masthead engravings — a hatched skyline of smoking factories, towers and a steel-frame building under construction behind fat drop-shadowed display lettering — usable as banner panels, hand-drawn type and industrial cityscape silhouettes.
