A weekly trade paper for California's building and engineering trades, published by L. A. Larson in San Francisco for the Contractors' and Dealers' Association of California from 1914 onward, carrying construction news, bids, and supplier advertising. The scanned pages yield mostly typographic material: ruled section banners set in wide-tracked serif and transitional display type, running heads with dates and page numbers, and rules framing column heads that can be lifted as letterpress-era headers and dividers.
