A weekly trade paper for the California construction industry, issued in San Francisco by L. A. Larson for the Contractors' and Dealers' Association of California and read by contractors, architects, engineers and material dealers in 1914. The scans here are mastheads and section headings: heavy drawn serif and slab lettering with ampersand ligatures, set against an engraved skyline of smokestacks, water tanks and a steel frame under construction, useful for period title lettering and industrial silhouette borders.
