A weekly trade periodical for California contractors, architects and suppliers, issued in San Francisco by L. A. Larson for the Contractors' and Dealers' Association of California and bound here as the 1914 volume. The scanned pages are dominated by typographic matter — running heads, rules and large serif section banners such as "Building News Section" — giving designers early twentieth-century American trade-press lettering, ruled column dividers and page furniture to copy or trace.
