A weekly trade paper for California contractors, architects and material dealers, issued in San Francisco by L. A. Larson for the Contractors' and Dealers' Association of California from 1914. The scanned pages yield letterpress section banners — "Building News Section" set in large roman caps and lowercase between horizontal rules, with small running heads and page numbers — usable as period headline type, masthead rules and column dividers.
