Building & engineering news
A weekly trade paper for California contractors, architects and material dealers, issued in San Francisco by L. A. Larson from 1914 for the Contractors' and Dealers' Association of California. The scans are mostly page furniture rather than scenes: ruled section banners reading "Building News Section" and "Engineering News Section" in wide-spaced serif capitals and roman caps, with running heads, datelines and column rules that supply ready-made trade-journal typography and rule work.
