Building & engineering news
A weekly trade paper for California contractors, architects and material dealers, issued in San Francisco by L. A. Larson for the Contractors' and Dealers' Association of California from 1914. The scans are dominated by typographic furniture: engraved mastheads with stipple-shaded skylines of factories, chimneys and steel frames, ruled section banners, and price and telephone lines set in small caps, useful as period display lettering and industrial vignettes.
