Building & engineering news
A weekly trade paper for the California building and contracting business, issued in San Francisco by L. A. Larson from 1914 for the Contractors' and Dealers' Association of California, read by builders, architects, engineers and suppliers. The scans here are mostly page furniture: heavy section banners such as "Building News Section" and "Engineering News Section" set in wide-spaced serif and sans capitals, running heads with date and page number, and ruled boxes with corner ornament, useful as period masthead lettering and rule-and-border templates.
