A weekly trade paper for the California construction industry, issued in San Francisco by L. A. Larson from 1914 with the Contractors' and Dealers' Association of California, read by contractors, dealers, architects and engineers. The plates are mostly letterpress section headings in heavy serif display type set between rules with running heads and dates, alongside coarse halftones of architects' perspective renderings of multi-storey hospitals and commercial blocks; useful for masthead typography, rule-and-banner layouts, and rendering-style building views.
