Building & engineering news
A weekly construction trade paper issued in San Francisco by L. A. Larson from 1914 for the Contractors' and Dealers' Association of California, read by builders, architects, engineers and material dealers. The scanned pages yield letterpress section banners — wide serif capitals and lowercase set inside double-ruled boxes on newsprint, with running heads and dates — usable as period mastheads, rules and headline lettering models.
