A 1914 trade journal issued in San Francisco by L. A. Larson for the Contractors' and Dealers' Association of California, reporting on construction, engineering, and building supply for contractors, architects, and dealers. The plates are halftone photographs and wash-rendered perspectives of banks, armories, and commercial blocks, giving designers ornamented masonry facades, long repetitive window grids, street-level figures and early automobiles, and grey newsprint tone.
