A compilation of San Francisco building and plumbing ordinances, the State Tenement House Act, and garage-construction rules, issued by the Board of Supervisors and printed by the Daily Pacific Builder in 1910 for contractors, architects, and inspectors. The plates are coarse-screen trade advertisement cuts and equipment portraits: forge blowers, geared brick machines, elbow pipe fittings, and a blacksmith shop facade set in ruled letterpress panels, useful for industrial catalogue lettering and machine silhouettes.
