A 1922 trade manual from Bush-Krebs Co., engravers and printers in Louisville, Kentucky, compiled by Bertram M. Capper to show college yearbook staffs how to lay out and order engravings for their annuals. The plates are sample pages of halftone portraits in oval vignettes arranged in grids and clusters, with ruled borders, ornamental page headers carrying the "Bukresco" banner, and captions explaining good and bad grouping \u2014 useful for portrait-panel layouts, oval frames, and period lettering banners.
