McGregor, gathering steel engravings of Byron's poems with extracts, notes and a biographical sketch for American parlour readers. Plates show solitary women on cliffs and ruins, moonlit coasts, Eastern costume and bandit figures, printed in soft grey tints with decorative ruled borders and vignette surrounds.
