Byzantine and Romanesque architecture
A two-volume architectural history by the English architect Sir Thomas Graham Jackson, published by Cambridge University Press in 1920 for students, architects and antiquarians of Byzantine and Romanesque building. Plates combine photographic interiors of basilicas with the author's pencil sketches of capitals, arcades and ruins, plus hatched ground plans and sections a designer can lift as line diagrams, ornament motifs or column studies.
