A Roman printseller's suite of copperplate views of the city's plans, squares, churches, palaces, reliefs and statues, engraved by Serafino Giovannini and Domenico Porti and issued in Rome by Cannetti in 1779 for antiquarians and grand-tour buyers. Fine-line etched perspectives show palace facades in raking three-quarter view, formal garden parterres, and small staffage figures, carts and cast shadows across open pavement.
