Camp and outing activities
A 1915 camp leaders' handbook by Frank H. Cheley and G. Cornelius Baker, issued in New York by Association Press, the YMCA's publishing arm, for men running boys' summer camps and outing programs. The plates are coarse-screen halftone photographs printed on yellowed stock: seated group portraits under trees, night campfires reduced to white flame and black mass, boys cooking and working in undergrowth, useful for heavy-grain texture, silhouetted crowd shapes, and high-contrast dark fields.
