Canaan d'après l'exploration récente
A French survey of Palestinian excavation results, written by the Dominican archaeologist Hugues Vincent and published in Paris by Lecoffre/Gabalda in 1907 for scholars of biblical archaeology. Its 240 figures mix crisp pen-and-ink drawings of flint tools, pottery, carved stone blocks and incised tablets with grey halftone photographs of rubble walls and trenches, offering hatched object silhouettes, meander and stepped ornament, and plans of masonry.
