Canadian jeweller 1882-1886
Canadian Jeweller, a Toronto trade journal published by Maclean-Hunter for jewellers, watchmakers and retailers between 1882 and 1886. Its wood-engraved advertising cuts show pocket watch cases in front, back and open views, with engine-turned grounds, scrolling foliage, blank cartouches for monograms and small engraved landscape vignettes usable as ornament, frames or catalogue-style spot illustrations.
