Canadian journal of fabrics.
Canadian Journal of Fabrics was a textile trade periodical published from 1883 by Biggar, Samuel in Toronto and Montreal for mill owners, machinery buyers and cloth manufacturers. Its wood-engraved plates show looms, carding engines and spinning frames in three-quarter view, dense with spoked flywheels, gear trains and cast-iron legs, useful as industrial machine silhouettes and repeating mechanical detail.
