Gábor Térey's 1892 art-historical study, published in Strassburg by Heitz, examines Cardinal Albrecht von Brandenburg and the Halle relic book of 1520 for German scholars of Renaissance painting and reliquary art. Halftone plates reproduce altarpiece wings with mitred bishops, standing female saints under flowering arches, kneeling donors and heraldry, plus line woodcuts of haloed saints on pedestals.
