Caricature. ed 1908
An anthology of American magazine caricature issued in 1908 by the Leslie-Judge Company, the New York publisher of Judge and Leslie's Weekly, gathering signed pen work by staff humor artists for a general readership and for draughtsmen studying the trade. The 458 drawings are line caricatures on blank grounds — elongated dandies, hatched striped suits, hobble-skirted women, solid brush-black masses — usable as cut-out figures, spot art and period costume reference.
