Ralph Straus's 1912 history of horse-drawn vehicles, published in London by Martin Secker for collectors and general readers tracing carriage design from state coaches to light gigs. Plates mix halftones of museum carriages against plain grounds with line profiles of chassis, springs and spoked wheels, giving clean side elevations, wheel geometry and carved gilt ornament usable as silhouettes or diagram sources.
