Cassell's book of in-door amusements, card games, and fireside fun
A Victorian household handbook of parlour games, card play, conjuring and paper toys, issued by Cassell, Petter, Galpin & Co. in London, Paris and New York in 1881 for middle-class families gathered at the fireside. The scanned pages are mostly close-cropped letterpress with italic figure keys, lettered diagram references and small cuts of paper-folding steps, coin sleights and charade scenes, useful for period type texture and instructional diagram fragments.
