Castle St. Angelo ; and, The evil eye : being additional chapters to "Roba di Roma"
Two supplementary essays on Roman subjects by the American sculptor and writer William Wetmore Story, published in London and Philadelphia in 1877 as additions to his travel book "Roba di Roma," for English-language readers interested in Italy. Wood-engraved plates show Rome's monuments and streets in grey tonal shading: temple colonnades, the Castel Sant'Angelo across the Tiber, piazza fountains with small figures, and ruined columns under open sky.
