[Catalog]

R.E. Pohle (Chicago, Ill.) · 1891 · The Firm, Chicago · 34 pictures

A trade catalogue of tables issued by the Chicago furniture firm R.E. Pohle in 1891 for retailers and wholesale buyers. Each plate shows a single table in three-quarter or straight-on view, wood grain and carved stretchers rendered in dense engraved hatching against blank grounds — a source of turned legs, pierced scrollwork panels and rosette medallions.
