A catalog of the antiquities and works of art, exhibited at Ironmongers' Hall, London, in the month of May, 1861
A catalogue of the 1861 antiquities and art exhibition at Ironmongers' Hall, compiled by George Russell French for the London and Middlesex Archaeological Society and printed in 1869 for collectors and antiquaries. Wood-engraved and lithographed plates isolate single objects against blank grounds: a Gothic crozier head, standing cups, enamelled mazers, keys, buckles and clasps, useful as silhouetted ornament and metalwork detail.
