Catalogue, descriptive and historical, of the pictures and sculpture in the Glasgow art gallery and museum, Kelvingrove
A descriptive and historical catalogue of the paintings and sculpture at Glasgow's Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, compiled by keeper James Paton and printed by R. Anderson in Glasgow in 1908 for visitors and collectors. The plates are soft-focus halftone reproductions of nineteenth-century oils, mostly misted landscapes, cattle at water, and silhouetted buildings, useful as grainy tonal backgrounds and atmospheric skies.
